Initially this website started as a small blog and a baking menu for my aunt, Lisa, owner of Fluffing Feathers when she was a home processor. Since then, her business has expanded and she now owns two bakery locations in New York.
As her business expanded, we needed to revamp her home page to make it easier for customers to find information about her bakery – in particular the hours of operation and locations. The goal was to eliminate some of the phone calls and confusion people experienced when they found the website and it was just a blog with no indication of the business.
This project is dear to my heart as I got to help establish the brand as well as build the website. The Fluffing Feather’s logo was created to my Aunt’s specifications, and the rest of the brand grew from it – we were aiming for cozy, down-home farm. Something inviting that makes you want to stop in for a bite.
