Earlier this month, I quietly launched Delight, my first premium Genesis theme.
When I say quietly, I mean quietly. I put up a post in Instagram and Facebook, pushed “publish” and walked away. My schedule has been crazy, but I really wanted to get it out in the open. So I had a quiet, little launch.
Well, consider this Delight’s Grand Opening. Because she’s out there are ready for business, baby! (Yes my theme is a she, deal with it.)
Introducing Delight!
I don’t get to do a lot of traditionally “feminine” designs. While my own branding is pretty feminine, I’d say 90% of my clients are male. So when I decided I was going to create and release a premium theme, I had one goal in mind: make it as girly as possible.
Which is what I tried to do. She’s pink. She’s frilly. She makes me so happy.
Also, she’s functional as hell.
Built on the Genesis Framework
I don’t think the Genesis Framework really needs an introduction. It’s one of the most user-friendly, powerful, and widely-used theme frameworks out there. And Delight is built on Genesis, so you get all of the awesome Genesis features baked right in!
Customizable!
I know that pink isn’t everyone’s style. So I built Customizer support into the theme. You can change all the colors and upload a custom header image and logo. So you can really make your website feel unique. (Psst… you can see some examples here.)
Fully Responsive (Mobile-Friendly)
In this day and age, you can’t have a website that isn’t mobile-friendly. When I was building Delight, that was one of my priorities. Rest assured, she looks (and works!) just as pretty on your phone as she does on your laptop.
WooCommerce Ready
A lot of Genesis themes require a plugin to support WooCommerce. Not this lady! She’s WooCommerce ready right out of the box, so you can spend more time setting up your products and less time trying to figure out why your store doesn’t look right. Even includes custom styling for the Cart, Checkout, and Account pages.
Built for Blogging
Where Delight really shines is the blog. She was made for blogging. A clean, simple layout, easy-to-read typography, and beautifully styled widgets mean your content will be wrapped in a picture-perfect shell.
